BD Ashok 1964-1971 Pakenham Walsh House

BD is an engineer from one of the IITs. His specialty is stress in metals. I understand Boeing and NASA have him on the shortlist. He is a professor in Penn State. (BD is a very modest guy, as he expects everyone to know what he does. He did not send me any material about his professional life, just Cottonian and family details which I already knew). For his considerable professional achievements(also his professorial visage) check his webpage. He exists on mineral water when all those around him soak themselves in alcohol. Had one of my best dinners at his home in Malleswaram. Totally non carnivorous with impeccable hospitality. Really regret that we could not return the favour. And thank you Uma also for the fabulous dinners. We really miss you BD!
